I Wish I Were...
Take a deep breath, pause, and ponder the following:
I wish I were what I was when I wished I were what I am.
Word play, I know, but who has not had a similar thought at some point in their life?
A key thing to remember to living a life without regret is to not take actions that you may end up regretting. A circular definition, but it is still valid.
My best means of defense is to live always conscious of the Golden Rule:
"Treat others the way you would want to be treated."
I wish I were what I was when I wished I were what I am.
At times I may wish that, but more so than not, I am grateful for the life experiences, both good and bad that have made me who I am today.
